We the Donegal Volunteer Centre have announced that nominations are now open for the 2026 Volunteer Individual Recognition Award and the Volunteer Project Recognition Award, celebrating the outstanding contribution of volunteers and community projects across County Donegal.
Registered organisations are now invited to nominate individual volunteers who have made a significant difference in their communities. Nominations are also welcome for Donegal-based community projects, either ongoing or recently completed. Projects will be judged on innovation, community impact, and volunteer involvement, with the winning project receiving a €400 Shop LK voucher.
The awards will be presented at a ceremony on Thursday, 16th July 2026 at 6.00pm in the Radisson Blu Hotel, Letterkenny.
The closing date for nominations is Friday, 26th June 2026 at 5.00pm.
